CIVIL CONSTRUCTION FOREPERSON

Responsibilities

• Ensure a strong job start‑up by understanding project scope, budget, schedule, and crew requirements before commencement.
• Manage project scheduling, daily work requirements, paperwork, crew staffing, and contract payment items.
• Coordinate production goals, targets, and scope; troubleshoot issues with the Site Superintendent.
• Lead the crew in accordance with Conwest's Corporate values; maintain open communication with employees to keep them informed of daily plans and performance expectations.
• Provide feedback on employee performance to the Site Superintendent and Site HR.
• Review plans and drawings with the Superintendent to define safe, technically appropriate construction methods and incorporate health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Perform the pre‑locate program for all existing utilities and ensure the information is disseminated and acted upon.
