QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training And Experience
Bachelor's degree with major credits in Food and Nutrition from a Dietitians of Canada accredited university. Completion of a Dietitians of Canada recognized dietetic internship. Registration with the current licensure in a practicing category with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC as a Dietitian required. Eligible for membership with the Dietitians of Canada (DOC). Two (2) years recent related experience as a practicing Registered Dietitian.
Skills And Abilities
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients and their families, members of the multi-disciplinary team, departmental employees and representatives of community agencies.
- Ability to coordinate activities and maintain liaison among medical and nursing staff, patients and the food service department and/or support agencies.
