Summary of Position:
Located in beautiful Sault Ste Marie, Ontario, SAH provides primary, secondary and select tertiary services to residents in Sault Ste. Marie and the District of Algoma. The Clinical Extern is a learner who is employed as an unregulated care provider to work under the supervision of a regulated care provider. Clinical Externs will have varying levels of knowledge, skills and judgement, based on their education level and past experience. 
Job Duty – Patient Care:
Responsible and accountable for the provision of patient care under the supervision of a Regulated Health Professional (RHP) assigned to them in a manner consistent with organization policies and professional standards and within the limitations placed on the position.
Requests assistance with assigned duties whenever needed and alerts team members when any change or concern about the patient’s condition is raised.
