Join NHSGGC as a Junior Clinical Fellow to further your skills in Neurosurgery at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. This fixed-term role begins in August 2026 and requires dedication.
As a junior doctor (FY2), you will be integral to providing ward care and managing acute cases in our multi-disciplinary setting. The position includes participation in an on-call rota and collaboration with a team of 10. You will also collect and manage clinical data effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver ward care for neurosurgical patients
• Evaluate admissions and oversee acute patients
• Compile test results and manage discharge summaries
• Attend critical meetings in neuro-surgery and neuro-radiology
Requirements:
• Valid GMC registration and UK licence
• Experience in medical and surgical contexts
• UK foundation programme completion within 3½ years
