Clinical pathology research technologist (Toronto)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrated knowledge and ability to perform all laboratory functions in a research clinical pathology laboratory including Hematology, clinical chemistry, coagulation Immunoassays, and urinalysis testing
• Ability to operate the clinical pathology instruments
• Working knowledge of positive laboratory practices
• Experience in testing blood and urine samples from laboratory animals
• Ability to perform assays using multichannel pipettes and pipetting small volumes
• Experience in ELISA testing
• Hands‑on experience on clinical pathology instruments for hematology coagulation, clinical chemistry (e.g. Advia, Vitros, Stago, or other instruments) is preferred
