Clinical Resources Coord - Primary Care

The Registered Professional Nurse (or similar) functioning in a Clinical Resource Coordinator position cares for patients by diagnosing and treating actual or potential health problems in the ambulatory setting without discrimination to age or gender through implementation of the nursing process. Coordinates care of other disciplines, delegates tasks to other nursing staff members, supervises care and evaluates results. Maintains competence in clinical practice and assists in the development of nursing practice standards through participation in professional committees and organizations.

In addition, this individual participates in the evaluation of members of the clinical team, the receiving and investigation of complaints of a clinical nature, and quality improvement activities. He/She serves as a resource to the on-site clinical team and is a conduit with other sites/departments related to clinical activities.
