Clinician - Family Therapy (Masters of Social Work or Clinical Counselling)

Salary range: CAD $42.27/hour - CAD $52.81/hour.

Overview

Within a patient/client and family‑centred framework and continuum‑based care model, the Clinician in Family Therapy works as part of a multidisciplinary mental health care team to provide comprehensive mental health and psychosocial assessment and treatment services for families of individuals with mental illness and concurrent disorders, including substance use. The role delivers psychodynamic, cognitive and behavioural therapy, couples counselling, group counselling and psychoeducation using best practices; establishes therapeutic relationships based on trust; participates in case conferences; and provides clinical support to colleagues to meet client needs and ensure continuity across the care continuum.
