Overview

The Department of Family and Community Medicine at St. Michael’s Hospital in conjunction with the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto is seeking a qualified full‑time Family Physician clinician‑scientist . The SMH DFCM has the largest primary care research program among Ontario family medicine teaching sites. The department’s mission is reflected in the research conducted by its members to improve health through advocacy, equity, and world‑leading primary health care, teaching, and research. DFCM members are leading significant research in areas of population health including social, economic and policy determinants of health, including precarious housing; immigrant and refugee health; Indigenous wellbeing; primary care models; respiratory infections, HIV, and other infections; diabetes and other chronic diseases; and global and international health.
