Commis Chef - Banquets - Casual/on-call

River Rock Casino Resort is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate and experienced Commis Chef to join our dynamic Banquets team as casual/on-call. This role is responsible for creating high quality meals and dining experiences for guests by preparing and serving attractive, scrumptious meals while maintaining all company standards and ensuring thorough adherence to safety and hygiene policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, pre-cooks, cooks and presents menu items in a timely fashion; following standardized recipes
• Prepares checklists and a variety of foods, garnishes, sauces, and other products as required for high volume production and execution
• Cleans kitchen equipment after use according to health and safety policies and procedures
• Receives stock from Receiving Operations, labels, dates, stores and rotates in appropriate storage areas
• Counts inventory as directed
