Engage with children as a Camp Counsellor for the City of Richmond Hill this summer. Your leadership will be crucial in creating a safe and enriching camp experience for all.
This temporary part-time role lasts from June to late August, focusing on supervising youth in a fun, active environment. You will implement camp activities, work collaboratively with staff and participants, and adapt programs to accommodate diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities: • Plan and implement daily camp activities for children • Adapt activities to ensure inclusiveness for campers with disabilities • Monitor camper safety consistently throughout the program • Support volunteers and engage them in camp activities • Complete incident documentation promptly
Requirements: • Must be at least 15 years old • Experience working with children preferred • Certification in First Aid and CPR mandatory • High Five PHCD Certification required • Ability to clear a Police Vulnerable Sector check
