Community-Focused Family Engagement Facilitator

Make a difference at The Family Centre as a Community-Focused Family Engagement Facilitator. This position is centered on enhancing family support through trauma-informed methods and ceremonies.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Family Engagement Services, your role involves facilitating Family Group Conferences and connecting families with necessary resources. You will play a crucial part in expanding community networks and ensuring children receive the supportive placements they need. Collaborating with an array of stakeholders is vital for the effective delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate Family Group Conferences and Support Circles
• Deliver trauma-informed support to families in need
• Conduct Family Searches to locate placements
• Collaborate with agency staff and Indigenous communities
• Assist families in connecting with their cultural background
