Community Relations Senior Advisor (Thunder Bay)

Job Function

Under the direction of the manager and line management provide community/municipal relations services and support to assist project teams to obtain regulatory approvals for the development of new transmission facilities/other strategic corporate priorities, as well as assistance in addressing other community/municipal issues that may affect the company's reputation and customer satisfaction.

Job Description:

1. Compile and maintain community/municipal profile database. Identify key stakeholders affected by the project or who may have an interest in the project e.g. elected officials (e.g., mayors, councillors, MPPs), municipal/regional/county staff, public interest and ratepayers groups, media, members of the general public and other key stakeholders for each transmission project or community/municipal issue.
