Compassionate Optometrist Needed Saturdays

Join our healthcare team in North York as a dedicated Optometrist working Saturdays. Provide comprehensive eye care services, including vision assessments and treatment plans for diverse patient populations.
This role focuses on thorough eye examinations, managing ocular conditions, and educating patients on eye health. You will collaborate with other providers to ensure optimal care, particularly for pediatrics and seniors. Experience with electronic health records such as Epic is preferred to enhance documentation and care coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed eye exams and vision tests for patients
• Diagnose ocular conditions and prescribe treatments as necessary
• Educate patients on eye health and proper eyewear
• Utilize medical terminology for precise documentation
• Fit contact lenses, including new and refits
Requirements:
• Valid state licensure as an Optometrist
• Experience with pediatric and senior patients is advantageous
