Compositor - ILM Vancouver
Job Summary: This role is hybrid, with 2‑3 days onsite and others from home.
Compositors combine live action and CGI to create visual effects shots, maintaining the aesthetic and technical quality of final images for the client.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate creative and technical approach for assigned shots alongside the Compositing and VFX Supervisors.
- Perform all compositing tasks, including 2D tracking, matte extraction, layering, and color grading on shots from moderate to very difficult.
- Maintain overall look, color balance, and quality to ensure uniformity across finished work.
- Collaborate with artists from other disciplines.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years of professional VFX experience and a college diploma in computer graphics, fine arts, design, photography, or related field; or at least 5 years of VFX experience in lieu of education.
