Lead a talented ensemble as a conductor for the University Orchestra at the University of Regina this Fall 2026. The orchestra invites skilled musicians from diverse backgrounds and offers a challenging repertoire.
The University Orchestra seeks a passionate conductor with a Master’s degree or significant teaching experience with orchestras or wind bands. The role focuses on preparing and directing performances for a full concert each semester in the University Theatre. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in teaching orchestras or wind bands, with university teaching experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct rehearsals every Tuesday from 19:30–21:20
• Prepare the orchestra for concerts in various musical styles
• Collaborate with musicians in the ensemble

• Perform administrative duties as needed
