Connect Business Development Specialist (6-Month Term)

POSITION GOAL

Accountable for completion of tasks related to NFI Connect sales presentations, business development strategy, accounts and projects. The tasks include interaction and support to customers, development of case‑studies, development of Marketing and training material, development of business models, and expert use of the New Flyer Connect system and project management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Manages Smart Bus Technology projects and contracts with customers. Including keeping and reporting on status of tasks.
• Acquires and maintains an expert command on the use of New Flyer Connect, including a functional understanding of the system’s capabilities and limitations.
• Acquires and maintains an expert knowledge of existing Bus and Coach monitoring solutions and trends.
• Develops and participates in Marketing and Promotion plans and materials for New Flyer Connect.
