Construction Manager, Apartments

Construction Manager, Apartments (fixed-term) Akelius is seeking an energetic self‑motivated Construction Manager to join a fast‑paced growing team for an eighteen‑month contract.

The selected candidate will be expected to manage multiple projects at one time in various construction phases, and to meet established goals on schedule, quality and budget. The Construction Manager’s primary focus will be on the specific needs of the project, residents, vendors and contractors. They will also be required to track project financials and schedule and report the progress status regularly.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple residential suite renovations.

Initiate projects from the concept stage and manage to completion.

Evaluate suite plans and site conditions, and offer recommendations on optimal functionality and value.

Define scope, review quotes, negotiate and award contracts.
