Construction Surveyor – Tunneling

Job Description

The SEB/TBM Surveyor will support the tunneling operations on the Ontario Line South project. This role will be responsible for providing accurate survey data to ensure the successful alignment and construction of the tunnel, whether using the Sequential Excavation Method (SEM) or Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM). This position requires flexibility, including the ability to work rotating shifts, including nights.

Salary range: $60,000 - $95,000 CAD, plus additional benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform precise surveys for SEM and TBM tunneling operations, including setting out work, alignment control, and monitoring.
• Accurately collect and process survey data to ensure compliance with project specifications, design requirements, and surveying standards.
• Provide alignment control for the TBM, ensuring that the tunnel follows the designed path and meets all required tolerances.
