Consultant Cardiologist Locum Role

Join NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde as a Locum Consultant Cardiologist for a 6-month period. Engage with a diverse patient population and impactful clinical services.
The role is open to candidates with MRCP and full GMC registration, including those nearing completion of training for specialist registration in Cardiology. The successful candidate will care for both in-patients and out-patients and will have the chance to focus on areas such as inherited cardiac conditions. The position involves on-call duties including weekends and allows for growing a sub-specialty interest.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver care to inpatients and outpatients in Cardiology
• Lead general Cardiology clinics twice a week
• Review GP referrals as part of service delivery
• Participate in 1 in 11 weekend on-call commitments
• Fulfill departmental responsibilities as needed
