Content Editor - Expert

Overview

Our client, a Top 5 Canadian Bank , is looking to hire a Professional - Content Editor - Expert for a 6-month contract (with potential extension or conversion to FTE). This is a hybrid position based in Toronto, with in-office work required every Wednesday and the third Friday of each month .

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and proofread digital content for public-facing channels (Bank, Simplii Financial, Client Bank USA, affiliates).
• Ensure content meets brand standards, voice/tone, accessibility requirements, and plain language principles.
• Apply SEO best practices to increase visibility, engagement, and client conversion.
• Collaborate with UX designers, product owners, marketing, regulatory, and legal teams to deliver clear and compliant content.
• Manage the editorial process from strategy and research to CMS authoring, reviews, approvals, and version control.
