Responsibilities As a Contingency Planning Officer you will be responsible for the following duties (If selected at the GS-11/12/13 level, duties will be performed in a developmental capacity): Serves as a Plans professional leveraging operational planning team best practices, in accordance with formal planning doctrine (e.g. Joint Publication 5-0, Joint Planning, in VUCA (“volatile”, “uncertain”, “complex”, and “ambiguous”) environments. Serves as subject matter expert in continuity programs, contingency / crisis response planning and policy development, and NS/EP.
