Description
Tavern United Brandon is looking for an experienced Cook 1. Must work good under pressure, in a very fast paced environment. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining work stations, general knowledge of kitchen equipment, plating dishes with care and consistency. Must communicate clearly, and support fellow staff during busy service, and take pride in delivering great food when it matters most.
You'll work alongside experienced cooks and leaders who value reliability and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare sauces, soups, and hot entrees for service and special functions, insuring that all stations are set for forecasted covers.
- Maintain food quality and adherence to company standards.
- Assures that all kitchen personnel and servers are aware of specials, plate presentations, and prices.
- Suggest daily specials that incorporate seasonal or special order ingredients.
