Corporate Accountant, Corporate Finance

Reporting to the Manager, Finance based in Toronto, Onex is seeking to hire a Corporate Accountant to join the Finance team. The Corporate Accountant will play an important role in supporting the fund manager team with accounting and reporting both internally and externally.

What you will do

• SupporttheFundManagergroupbyensuringthataccountingrecordsareaccurate,complete,andtimely
• Performdailyaccountingtasks,includingpreparingandenteringjournalentries,bankingwires,andcodinginvoicesinaccordancewithprivateequities’LPAs
• Monthlyreconciliationsofcash,accountsreceivableandintercompanybalances
• Preparingbillingsandcommunicateinvoicingmatterswithdealteamand/orthird-partyoperatingcompanies
• Preparequarterendreportingleadsheetsandworkingpapersforconsolidatedpublicfinancialreporting
• AssistFinancialReportingteamwithpublicfinancialstatementnotesandMD&Apreparation
