Corporate HSE Industrial Hygienist

IKO Industries Ltd. is a Canadian‑owned and operated leader in the manufacturing of roofing and building materials. The Industrial Hygiene Specialist will report to the HSE Director and lead the organization’s industrial hygiene program.

Responsibilities

• Use scientific principles and concepts to develop IH policies, standards, and operating guidelines; lead exposure assessment strategy on topics such as hearing conservation, ventilation management, exposure assessment, PPE, and TSCA.
• Develop sampling strategies and ensure all sampling is completed per recognized regulations, including job‑specific task sampling.
• Work with the analytical lab to ensure all data is analyzed and conducted according to approved testing methodology.
• Evaluate program documents, plans, procedures, and processes for compliance and alignment with minimum requirements of all applicable provincial and state regulations.
