We are recruiting for a number of Corporate Legal Assistant roles for some of Toronto's top law firms. The right candidate will be a self-motivated individual who enjoys being busy. Being able to work both independently and on a team is important in these roles, and a high attention to detail is required.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft, edit and finalize closing agendas and all transactional documents relating to lending and corporate transactions
- Organize and track delivery of closing documents
- Draft renewal agreements for lending transactions
- Prepare annual resolutions
- Compile Record Books
- Communicate professionally with all internal and external clients
- Proofread and check documents
- Diarize and track deadlines
- Produce the highest quality of work
- Handle a high volume of daily administrative tasks
