Description
Trans Mountain Corporation seeks a Cost Allocation Financial Analyst (contract, 6 months, full‑time, in‑office, Calgary Head Office) reporting to the Director of Finance. The role supports budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision‑making by maintaining and optimizing the organization’s cost allocation model and ensuring accurate assignment of shared services, overhead, and operational costs across projects and business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and enhance cost allocation models for budget and forecast cycles.
- Process monthly cost allocations and prepare journals, including allocation splits and project IDs.
- Analyze cost trends, variances, and allocation impacts to support budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepare the annual true‑up of actual cost allocations using incurred costs and hours.
