Cost Engineer - Body

We are seeking to identify three Project Cost Engineers to join the Body team supporting a leading global OEM. This role focuses on cost estimation, analysis, and optimization across key body and exterior vehicle systems.

• Exterior (fascia, spoiler)
• Body in White (BIW)
• Lighting and/or Sealing, Glazing, Mechanisms
• Develop detailed should-cost models for body and exterior components and assemblies
• Perform bottom-up cost analysis including materials, labor, overhead, scrap, tooling, and logistics
• Analyze manufacturing processes such as stamping, welding, painting, plastic injection molding, extrusion, and assembly to identify cost drivers
• Conduct supplier quotation analysis (RFQ) and validate pricing against technical assumptions
