A Credit Risk Analyst is expected to have a basic understanding of credit risk, leveraging off an academic background Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.They should need close supervision from their respective Credit Risk Team Lead, but take each interaction opportunity to further learn about credit risk, industry fundamentals, effective writing and communication.This role has responsibility for the portfolio of GSG Relationships and the role reports directly to the GSG Credit Risk Team Lead.
**Key Responsibilities**:- Assess the credit and financial strength of Citi's counterparts by performing fundamental credit analysis of counterparties using both quantitative and qualitative factors- Complete Credit Analysis Write-up Memos and Final Obligor Risk Ratings of Citi's Counterparties based on independent assessment and judgement completed on the due diligence of the client and industry knowledge to provide appropriate extensions of credit remaining within Risk appeti...
