WHAT’S THE JOB?

This position takes place on site in a remote camp setting . Crew Leaders are live‑in staff for the full duration of the summer program. This position takes places at Esker Lakes Provincial Park. Transportation cost support for individuals travelling from out of province.

OYEP Crew Leaders (CLs) are responsible for the day‑to‑day supervision, safety, and support of youth participants (“Rangers”) throughout the Outland Youth Employment Program. Crew Leaders work directly with youth and play a primary role in modeling workplace expectations, healthy group living, and professional behaviour. Many Rangers are experiencing their first job and first paycheque—Crew Leaders are essential mentors in building confidence, accountability, and readiness for work.
