    • The Perioperative Unit, situated at the Sale Campus, consists of two Operating Rooms, one Endoscopy room, a Day Procedure Unit, and the Central Sterilising Supply Department. It hosts a range of surgical procedures including General Surgery and various specialties like Orthopaedics, Urology, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Gynaecology, and Obstetrics, all conducted at CGHS.

    About the Role

  • Clean, sterilise, inspect and package surgical instruments
  • Provide timely sterile products, trays and equipment where applicable 
  • Ensure all sterilising standards and infection control measures are adhered to
  • Support the perioperative manager and other team members in managing resources
  • Manage documentation
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence across all areas of the hospital
