Demand Planning Analyst (Laval)

Job Summary

The Demand Planning Specialist is responsible for developing accurate demand forecasts, optimizing alignment between customer forecasts and POS data, and internal forecasts. The ideal candidate has strong forecasting skills, a keen understanding of market trends and effectively partners with cross‑functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to drive business success.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical sales trends, promotional plans, and gather market insights to develop reliable demand forecasts.
• Assign and maintain forecasting models using statistical techniques and tools.
• Prepare forecasts monthly at the item/customer/sales team level to enable product manufacturing of netted requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operation teams to gather insights and align forecasts with business plans.
