Department of Statistics UC Chile – Tenure-track position in Statistics

The Department of Statistics, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, announces the opening of one tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level, beginning August 1, 2018. Candidates should have a doctoral degree in Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field and exhibit experience in both research and teaching. Appointees will be expected to pursue a vigorous research program and to teach three undergraduate/graduate courses per year in Spanish (with idiomatic support if required); doctoral courses can be taught in English. Load is reduced to only two courses per year during the first two years.
