Deputy International Medical Director

The Deputy International Medical Director is responsible for overseeing the clinical, operational, and cost management performance of the International Major Medical (IMM) portfolio, including the Medical Departments in Panama and Mexico, the International Care Center, and medical oversight of the Caribbean region (with particular focus on Trinidad & Cayman).

This role ensures appropriate, cost-effective, and high-quality medical care for insured members by providing strong clinical governance across pre-authorizations, claims evaluation, and complex case management, with a particular focus on:

• Catastrophic and high-value claims (>$25K)
• Cases treated in the United States
• Markets without local medical presence
• Coaching and developing the medical teams
• Ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and guidelines
