Designated Early Childhood Educators (Supply positions)

Job Summary

Reporting to the Principal, the Designated Early Childhood Educator will partner with the Catholic classroom teacher to plan and implement a full day early learning program supporting faith initiatives within a Catholic classroom setting and provide supervision and age appropriate Catholic programming for groups of students. Required Qualifications: · A two-year Early Childhood Education Diploma and proof of registration and good standing with The College of Early Childhood Educators (photocopy of registration certificate required) · Minimum of six months childcare experience in a childcare or educational setting · Current CPR and First Aid Certificate (photocopy of certificates required) Skills & Competencies: · Knowledge of Ministry of Education full day early learning program and related legislation; knowledge of SMCDSB related polices and procedures. · Proven ability, experience and skill in working as a member of a team. · Proven ability to communi...
