Job Title: Direct Support Professional

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities or special needs
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accurately
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
• Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals
• Follow individualized care plans and document any changes or concerns
• Assist with various contracts around the Interlake such as basic yard care, paper deliveries, and CDA's

Qualifications

Experience: Direct Support: 1 year (preferred)

Education: Secondary School (preferred)

Licensing/Certification: Class 5 Licence (preferred), First Aid Certification (preferred)
