Position Overview

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Manager will have daily responsibility for managing the workforce, productivity, cost control, continuous process improvement, health and safety, as well as employee training. The role supports the company business plan to meet or exceed Scotts Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and will engage in year‑to‑year budgeting and capital improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Directly lead and manage Department Supervisors.
• Effectively lead people and collaborate with Logistics, Yard, Production Planning, QA Technician, HR, and Finance to meet or exceed company financial goals.
• Oversee production planning, staffing, and day‑to‑day manufacturing operations in a cost‑effective manner while accurately tracking and recording KPIs.
