Help shape the future of law as the Director for Student Talent at Bennett Jones in Calgary. This full-time role focuses on overseeing student recruitment and development initiatives.
As the Director for Student Talent, you will manage all aspects of recruitment for 1L, 2L, and articling students at our Calgary office while supporting the Edmonton office in recruitment activities. Engage with law schools and enhance the delivery of student programs, which includes mentorship and performance evaluations to ensure student success in their legal careers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead recruitment activities aligned with Alberta Law Society standards
• Oversee summer and articling student workflow and engagement
• Build partnerships with law schools and career services
• Facilitate annual performance reviews for students
• Provide developmental feedback and mentorship to students in both offices
