Director, Insurance Services Quality and Care

Lead quality initiatives in Life and Disability services at Medavie as Director. In this hybrid role, your focus will be on governance, clinical excellence, and strategic innovation.
Reporting to the Vice President, you will be accountable for setting clinical standards and Curated Care pathways that enhance the claims process. This role involves leading teams in high-risk cases and utilizing technology to support effective outcomes for claimants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct teams in Life and Critical Illness care
• Implement training strategies with clinical best practices
• Maintain and evolve Curated Care pathways and standards
• Set up performance accountability for external providers
• Establish quality standards aligned with regulations
Requirements:
• University degree in healthcare or business
• Minimum of 10 years in group insurance or disability management
