Director, Legal Affairs (Investment, Financing & Public Disclosure)

About the Role

Intact is seeking a Director, Legal Affairs (Investment, Financing & Public Disclosure) to play a pivotal role in its Corporate Legal Department. You will lead a team of lawyers and other legal professionals supporting Intact’s investment activities, financing initiatives, and public‑company continuous disclosure. Reporting to the Vice‑President, Legal Affairs, you will be a trusted advisor and thought partner to business leaders.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide strategic legal support to Intact Investment Management on its investment activities and transactions (acquisitions/dispositions, fund subscriptions, trading arrangements, etc.).
• Oversee advice on securities regulation and compliance impacting registrants, portfolio managers and reporting issuers; maintain a proactive regulatory watch and translate developments into practical guidance.
