Roles and Responsibilities

• Define, lead, and implement BioMarin’s patient advocacy activities in assigned therapeutic areas and geographies, ensuring patient insights inform key business decisions
• Position BioMarin as a global leader in patient advocacy; represent the company and build trust with advocacy groups
• Develop initiatives to connect patient communities with Business Unit/International teams and advance key priorities
• Build open, transparent relationships with key PAGS; identify opportunities for strong partnerships, including co‑created/collaborative programs
• Implement community outreach from preclinical development through commercialization to inform clinical trial design and understand patient need; ensure feedback is delivered to the community
