Director Tripping and Out Trips-Tanamakoon
Associate Director of Canoe Tripping and Out Trips
Reports To: Ownership/Senior Camp Director
Supervises: Canoe Tripping Staff, Assistant Trip Leaders (AT)
Position Summary
The Director of Canoe Tripping is responsible for the planning, coordination, and safe execution of all out tripping programs at Tanamakoon- Canoe trips, Backpacking Trips, Hiking Trips, Day Trips and Cookouts. This includes pre-season preparation, staff training, route planning, risk management, and ensuring that each trip provides campers with a positive, safe, and educational wilderness experience.
