RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures safe work practices and procedures.
- Responsible for the application and formulation of the Company’s Health and Safety program and ensuring all employees have an opportunity to learn elements of the safety program.
- Performs safety audits.
- Ensures that all employees are trained in job requirements before permanent assignment. A team of around 20 people.
- Searches for new material to update training for all employees.
- Ensures implementation of Company training programs and development of department’s personnel.
- Informs subordinators of performance expectations.
- Monitors and evaluates performance and coaches, as necessary.
- Interviews, reviews qualifications, selects and recommends employment candidates.
- Ensures compliance with regulations and Company policies. Ensures the usage of corrective measures/discipline on violations.
