Electronics Maintenance Technician / Technical Trainer

Reports To: NWSCC Operations Supervisor

Hours: 37.5 hours/week

The Electronics Maintenance Technician (EMT) / Trainer provides technical support and training on Communications & Electronics systems within the North Warning System (NWS). The role supports mission‑critical surveillance operations and operates under the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 2228.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining NWS communications & electronics systems, including data and voice communications, multiplexers, satellite/RF communications, AN/FPS‑124 Radar, AN/FPS‑117 Radar, router‑based IP networks, helicopter monitor, and SCADA systems.
