Job Description / Duties

• Assesses and processes human oocytes and sperm.
• Extracts and processes sperm from surgical procedures (TESE, PESA) for use in ICSI.
• Performs IVF, ICSI and embryo culture.
• Grades and selects embryos resulting from IVF/ICSI for transfer back to patients.
• Freezes human oocytes, embryos and sperm.
• Thaws and/or prepares frozen sperm for IUI, DI and IVF/ICSI.
• Warms and processes frozen oocytes for ICSI.
• Warms and processes frozen embryos for transfer to patients.
• Performs laser assisted hatching.
• Prepares and communicates laboratory testing and cycle outcome reports to patients and physician/nursing care teams.
