Role and Facility Information
Saanich Peninsula Hospital (SPH) is currently seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide locum coverage in a supportive community hospital setting.
SPH is a 65-bed acute care hospital with an 18-bed Emergency Department that sees approximately 38,000 patients annually, including both pediatric and adult populations. As the primary referral hospital for the Southern Gulf Islands, SPH serves a total population of approximately 87,000.
The Emergency Department is staffed by a collegial and progressive group of 16 full- and part-time emergency physicians, with six shifts per day and 15 hours of double coverage. Daytime in-hospital suppor...
