Engineer- Programmer, Junior

Overview

Job Title: Engineer – Program, Junior. Job Summary: Work as a trainee program engineer, under guidance of a process / project engineer or a program manager assigned to a task, program or project.

Responsibilities

• Assist project / process engineer with all program elements like documentation, attending meetings, as instructed
• Participate APQP / CFM teams and record all activities for action trackers
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts based on the feedback from external (CAT, SAT) and internal related performance indicators
• Develop and monitor strategy for procuring special tools and fixtures where required
• In collaboration with manufacturing engineers, estimate cycle times for each operation in the process
• Participate in reviewing Process FMEA on regular basis and work with engineering and core teams to reduce high RPN numbers.
