Engineering Manager

Responsible for the overseeing daily operations of the engineering department and ensure a safe efficient and well‑maintained hotel. The salary range for this position is $77,000-$83,000 annually. Compensation within the range is based on job‑related skills, knowledge, and relevant experience. This posting represents an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and oversee general repairs and preventative maintenance of the guest bedrooms and front and back of house areas with the involvement of the maintenance mechanics are required.
• Also to undertake any duties required outside the hotel building, in the hotel grounds, as required, to ensure that all areas of the property are maintained to the required standard.
• Be fully familiar with Hotel Fire and Emergency Procedures
• Represent the Chief Engineer in their absence, in all aspects relating to the department and to attend various meetings as required.
