Environmental Science Co-op Student

The Environmental Science Co-op Student supports the MEMS Environmental Services team by assisting with environmental assessment, monitoring, and remediation projects across regulatory, biophysical, contaminated sites, and water resource disciplines.

This role is designed for a post‑secondary student currently enrolled in Environmental Sciences, Water Resources, Geology (with a water specialization), or related program who is seeking practical, hands‑on experience through a structured co‑op or internship placement. The position provides exposure to both field and office‑based work while reinforcing MEMS’ core values of Service, Quality, Trust, Innovation, and Teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

Technical & Field Support

• Assist with field programs related to environmental site assessments, biophysical surveys, groundwater and surface water sampling, and environmental monitoring under the supervision of senior staff.
