Event Sponsorship Ambassador (Ongoing Posting)

Job Description

Under the direction of the Marketing & Sponsorship Specialist, the Event Sponsorship Ambassador is responsible to coordinate, monitor and organize all sponsor related activities on site at events; may include sponsor vendors, entertainment, product handouts etc.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience coordinating, organizing and implementing events and/or activities.
• Previous experience in overseeing others in a recreation environment/facility/event.
• Familiar with Town of Newmarket and Town of Newmarket events.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to deal courteously and effectively with all levels of Sponsor / Stakeholder contacts, Town staff, Council Members, and the general public.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
