Fraser Academy | Centre for Dyslexia

Fraser Academy (FA) is a North American leader in dyslexia education with over 40 years of success in strong student outcomes, including a 95%+ post‑secondary acceptance rate.

Building on this legacy, FA is establishing Canada’s first Centre for Dyslexia, a national hub designed to bridge the gap between accessible intervention and system change. The Centre serves as a driving force providing evidence‑based supports while breaking down the barriers facing the 1 in 5 people with dyslexia, transforming a perceived deficit into a “dyslexic thinking” superpower.

Through four pillars—Teacher Training, Early Screening & Intervention, Outreach, and a Knowledge Hub—the Centre aims to disrupt the status quo and also mitigate social systemic risks like mental health challenges and poverty linked to unsupported learning differences.
